What to do
Lipton Farm is only 1.5 miles from the very popular Dittiscombe Equestrian Centre, so for anyone who fancies a lesson or two!
There is so much to do in the area immediately surrounding Lipton. From the spectacular scenery, walking, beaches, pubs, Woodlands Leisure Park (4 miles away) Slapton Ley Field Study Centre (2 miles), Dittiscombe Equestrian Centre (1.5 miles) to our own village activities such as “The Wacky Races” . . . Penelope Pitstop eat your heart out! Once a year, in May, the road through East Allington is lined with straw bales and after months of secrecy and building, the race begins. Each hand made cart has to adhere to strict safety rules and regulations (ie; brakes, roll bar and helmet compulsory!) It is a hugely successful event which draws many hundreds of people each year. A field is used for stalls and refreshments, whilst the local pub (Fortescue Arms) provide the bar. A fantastic weekend of entertainment for the whole family. |

The farm is only 3 miles from the stunning coast line of Start Bay and Blackpool Sands
